About Me

Storytelling is the connective twine of my work.

A Midwest native, I love photography for the anthropological and historical aspects. I'm a timekeeper: weaving creative visual narratives about people and places, locally and globally.

I worked for over a decade at newspapers and as the journalism world changed I adapted and chose to shift my storytelling focus to working in education, health and conservation - issues I discovered I most cared about after traveling and documenting in over 50 countries and living abroad from Europe to Asia to Central America - preserving the surreal, simple, colorful and beautiful all along the way.

I call Denver, Colorado, home, and am known to leave for adventure, near and far, with less than 24 hour notice.
